The mid-tier where memory, statistics, and every output first appear
The mid-tier gauge is where this line changes character: it is the lowest series carrying the full output set — USB, RS-232, Mitutoyo, and analog — and the lowest to store readings on board, holding 50 with statistics. Its set points also drive open-drain outputs that can trigger an alarm, a relay, or the test stand itself.
